Dog Toy Preferences

Just like us humans, each dog is different, and this includes different playing styles they take on. Which means that various toys are suited for a range of behaviors!

The Chewers: Chewers love gnawing and teething on toys, causing mental stimulation for them while doing so. The best types of toys for chewers are toys made from thicker materials that their biting can pass through. Different fabric textures and hardness can also be satisfying for them while chewing these toys.

Tug-O-War Pullers: These kinds of dogs love playing games with their owners that involve tugging and physical stimulation. Rope toys can be amazing for this, as the purpose can benefit the dogs perfectly, pulling on the thick rope material. Toys with a substantial amount of flexibility would be useful for this preference in playing.

The Cuddlers: These dogs prefer to snuggle up with their toys, materials on the cozier and softer side. They can use these items as their own comfort while taking naps or carrying around the place. These toys should have plush and more lightweight fabrics in order to cater to this style. Crinkle or squeak noises could also add to this preference since it will add mental stimulation to the dog while also staying on the softer spectrum of toys instead of rough playing.
